Some progress...

OK so I have had some progress on the "getting-outta-Perth" front... my passport is ready to be picked up! Very exciting. Only problem is I have to pick it up before work, so I hope tomorrow isn't one of those "oops-slept-in-again" days!

On the downside, my accountant rang today and apparently I haven't submitted my 2004 tax return. F*&k. In any case, the positive to that is that I am sure for that particular period I was youth allowance only. And I do have the paperwork for that. But in any case, its just really annoying.

Another annoying thing is that I've just realised it's 10.54pm and I've completely forgotten about an invoice I have to do... again! Garrrrr. I always forget about those. Ooops now that I think about it, theres 2. Geeeeezuz. I have to remind myself to chat to the accountant about what happens with my BAS (GST crap) when I am away. I have a hard enough time doing it while I am here.... CRAAAAP ok NOW I remember I actually have one to do.. NOW. *insert a stream of expletatives HERE* grumble

OK. Guess what I'm doing NOW.

Heh. In any case. Got my passport yay!

(Oh. That's right. I need to go and get ANOTHER photo done because stupid post-office girl kept my last ones. Awesome.)

Another bite of typographic goodness...

OK, so my page is getting completely chokkas from all these youtube videos I find... I know, I KNOW!! But these are freakn awesome (if you have the same fetish I guess....)

More typography goodness

Oh so tasty....

(warning: some drug use in this one!)

Bat for Lashes

I discovered this band today and oh my god... I LOVE them! The clips are also amazing... here are two of my favourites. The music is absolutely beautiful.

Plus I have a soft spot for BMX bikes!

A cool video clip

Love DJ Yoda, love the clip!

Pulp Fiction in Typography

The "What does Marsellus Wallace Look Like" scene in Pulp Fiction portrayed using nothing but typography. By Jarratt Moody. (Warning... may contain some naughty words!)

Japanese design

The more I think about going to Japan, the more I get excited about checking out the design scene. The culture alone is enough to influence you in terms of design and creativity, but Japan is so distinctive and varied in what is produced through design that it is really quite mind blowing.

A site that really took my breath away was Groovision's website. Their motion graphic design work is astounding.

So excited!
